Kids Art: Sunflower Drawing with Oil Pastels

Vincent Van Gogh is one of my favorite artists and I love doing studies of his work in various mediums. This kids class is going to look at several of his sunflower paintings and work to recreate a similar one known as a study with oil pastels. This medium is great for rich, bright color and will lend well to layering color and lines to create a similar effect to an impressionistic painting. This fun class may be only an hour long, but it will be a good one you don't want to miss!
