Refund policy

Our promise

If you leave a class feeling it was not worth your evening, tell Stephanie within seven days — reply to your confirmation email, write to hello@paintsandsticks.com or use the form on our Visit page — and your next class is on us. No forms, no argument. Small classes only work if people go home glad they came.

Every class here is one date, one room and a fixed number of chairs. When you book a seat, that chair comes off the calendar and nobody else can have it. That is the whole reason this policy exists — and why it is written in plain language instead of legal language.

Cancelling a class seat

• More than 48 hours before the class starts — full studio credit, good for 12 months, usable on any class. Ask and it is yours.
• Inside 48 hours — the seat is not refundable. By then the materials for your spot are bought and the chair is too late to fill.
• Send someone else instead. If you cannot make it, your seat can be used by anyone you like. Tell us the name and that is the end of it.

If you do not turn up

The seat is forfeit. A class is a reserved chair at a particular time, not a download that waits for you — an empty chair cannot be sold to anyone else once the class has started.

If we cancel or move a class

You get a full refund to your original payment method, or studio credit if you would rather have that. Your choice, not ours. The same applies if we move a class to a new date and the new date does not work for you.

Gift cards

Gift cards are not refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. They do not expire.

Art supplies

Supplies bought at the studio can come back unopened within 14 days for a full refund. Opened paint, clay and glaze cannot be resold, so those are not returnable — but if something was faulty, tell us and we will make it right.

Private bookings

A private booking holds the entire room, so the shape is different. More than 14 days before the date, you get full studio credit. Inside 14 days, the deposit is kept. Inside 48 hours, the booking is charged in full.

What you made

Everything you make is yours to take home. The exception is pottery, which has to be fired — we hold it at the studio and tell you when it is ready, usually two to three weeks later.
